Can a financial aid office deny a student financial aid if that student took about 8 years to complete IGETC at a 2 year college to transfer to a university? (The student dropped out of college due to being homeless for a while and then went back to college and for other reasons such as this) Are there requirements on how old a student can be to recieve financial aid ?
The student still needs to a complete a few more classes though in order to be able to tranfser.

Oh yeah, you will also not be able to graduate if you do not complete your coursework within a certain number of credits, time at some schools. They set limits so that they can stop giving you money after what they consider to be a reasonable amount of time. There is no age limit to aid. So you can try to appeal to the financial aid office (contact them and they will give you everything that you need for the appeal), or pay for it out of pocket.
