Am I suppose to take History if transferring from nursing of Community College to Cal State?

I am planning on transferring from a Community College to a Cal State University. I’ve printed out the nursing classes required for CSU from the ASSIST site. But I was wondering if I need to fulfill the General Education (GE) requirements of the community college in order to transfer also. My community college requires the GE classes such as math, humanities, physical education, history to obtain an Associate’s Degree. But when transferring to a CSU, does that mean your graduating from the Community College and obtaining an associates degree. Thus, I would have to take History?

Thank you, your answers are much appreciated.
