Last semester, my prof. said my care plans were good and I passed. This semester I have a different prof. and she has failed 2 of my care plans. She just says they’re not scientific. I think she doesn’t like me.
I had a patient w/ admitting diagnosis of pneumonia.but she also has copd and lung cancer
My 3 diagnoses were: ineffective airway clearance (bc of the mucus)
activity intolerance (bc of dyspnea on exertion)
risk for infection (I wasn’t sure if this was a good diagnosis because she already has an infection! But shes on steriod, and chemo which depresses her immune system.)
So I dont understand why they failed me. My new prof . is biased..

You should set up a meeting with your nursing instructor. You should tell her that you are not getting what she is wanting, and ask her if she would show you what she wants. It is a different instructor. If you wrote a perfect care plan for the second instructor, the first one may think it is terrible.
