I owe the IRS for back taxes, will they garnish my federal student aid?

    In order to receive financial aid, it’s based on your previous year tax return. You need to file all your taxes before applying for government aid. The IRS will be glad to make payment arrangements. This is required in order to obtain aid from the government.
