If someone has a history of psychiatric issues, will they not be able to pursue a career in the medical field?

I have a history of suicide attempts, although I never actually got admitted into a psychiatric facility. Would I still be able to pursue a career as a psychiatric and mental health nurse?

    of course, but you can’t let your personal life interfere with your work or your ability to help patients.

    you don’t have to disclose that information… it’s up to you if you’ll be able to achieve it. follow your passion and what your inner self feels
